Take the challenge.
Read the Bible in three months. Yes, the whole Bible.
Thousands of people set out every year to read the Bible cover-to-cover only to quit mid-Leviticus. 2022 is the year to change that and to, in turn, be changed radically by the powerful Word of God.
You will never be the same again.

I’m very excited to hear that this challenge is being made to other believers in Christ. I was personally challenged several years in a row to read through the OT in January and the NT during February. I admit, it was a huge challenge for me because I hated reading. The first year I made it almost all the way through in two months. The next year I finished it in two months. The third year I was searching for answers from God. I actually read the entire Bible in one month. I’d read from the OT in the morning and the NT in the afternoon. It was a challenge that has changed my life forever. I’d encourage others to do this as well. As a matter of fact, after writing this I am encouraged to do this again. Enjoy the challenge!! Hide His word in your heart that you may not sin against Him. Have a God filled day! Happy reading!

HOW MANY TIMES HAS "READ THE BIBLE THIS YEAR" BEEN ON YOUR NEW YEAR RESOLUTIONS LIST? THIS YEAR, ACCEPT THE CHALLENGE , GET IT DONE, & SEE YOUR LIFE CHANGED BY THE LIVING AND ACTIVE WORD OF GOD.
ABOUT THE CHALLENGE
THE PURPOSE
To read (or listen) through the Bible in just three months. I know it seems overwhelming, but you can do it.
THE PRAYERS
Start praying before you read. Schedules can quickly get in the way of our time in God’s Word. We need to pray for ways to find time to read or listen to God’s Word.
THE PLAN
Come up with a plan to accomplish the task. I encourage you to set a time and place to listen or read the Word of God.
THE PROCESS
Let’s get serious for a moment. It will take time to tackle this extreme challenge.
A WORD FROM OUR FOUNDER
My name is Mikey Mewborn, and I am a local minister and professor in the Memphis area. Currently, I serve as a vice president at Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary as well as the chairperson of theology. I want you to know that I accepted the It Is Finished challenge several years ago and it changed my life.
Let me share with you a couple of things that stood out to me while reading God’s Word. After the Babylonians sacked the city of Jerusalem in 587 B.C., many Jews became exiles in different lands. Several years later, God led a man named Nehemiah to rebuild the walls of that city. What happened next was amazing. Ezra, who is known as a Jewish priest and scribe, was called to read the Book of Law in front of all the returning Israelites. Upon hearing the Word God, the Israelites began to confess their sins and worshipped the Lord. They also confessed that God was faithful to His Word the whole time. As a result, God blessed them immensely.
The Word of God has power to change lives.
“For Ezra had set his heart to study the Law of the Lord, and to
do it and to teach his statutes and rules in Israel.”
Ezra 7:10
